We at Apple Children's Books feel that the future of our country will rely on how well we communicate with others.  There are many reasons that our children should learn a foreign language.  The first reason is due to the ethnic makeup of today's schools.  As reported by the Center For Public Education, the list of languages spoken in our school is truly diverse.  Whether our children are in a multi cultural school or we as parents are guiding them in their career choices, it is clear that the future will belong to those who speak a second language.
